Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet and let rest.
- 3
Sauté the Spinach
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Slice the cooked chicken breasts. In a large serving bowl, mix the cooked pasta, homemade tomato sauce, sautéed spinach, and sliced chicken. Toss to combine.
- 5
Melt the Cheese
Top the pasta mixture with provolone cheese. Place under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs or cheese if desired.
