Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Veal
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 2
Breading Process
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with bread crumbs.
- 3
Fry the Cutlets
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded veal cutlets in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, then place the veal cutlets on top. Cover each cutlet with more marinara sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Cook the Pasta
While the veal is baking, cook the spaghetti or pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 7
Serve
Serve the baked veal Parmigiana hot over the cooked pasta, garnished with fresh basil.
