Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Salmon
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Sear the Salmon
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the white wine, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a boil and reduce by half.
- 4
Finish the Sauce
Stir in the lemon juice and capers. Let simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 5
Serve
Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with steamed vegetables.
