Prepare the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

Add 4 large eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just blended. Be careful not to overmix.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 1 hour, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
