Meatballs and Marinara Sauce
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get approximately 20 meatballs.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- 4
Add Marinara Sauce
Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- 5
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
