Stuffed Hot Peppers

Method

Preparation and Baking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Peppers

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice the tops off the Hungarian hot peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Peppers

Using a spoon, fill each pepper with the cheese mixture until they are packed full.

  4. 4

    Bake the Peppers

Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden.

  5. 5

    Prepare Garlic Toast

While the peppers are baking, mix softened butter with minced garlic. Spread the garlic butter on the slices of bread. Toast in a skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the peppers from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve alongside the garlic toast.
