Pulled Pork Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub the spices all over the meat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily pulled apart.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the cooker and mix it with barbecue sauce. Let it warm for an additional 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sandwiches

Toast the soft sandwich rolls lightly. Fill each roll with the pulled pork mixture and top with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the pulled pork sandwiches with fries and pickle slices on the side.
