Chicken Tender Hoagie Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Tenders
In a shallow dish, place the flour. In another dish, whisk the eggs. In a third dish, place the breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken tender first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
- 2
Fry the Chicken Tenders
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken tenders in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Assemble the Hoagies
Slice the hoagie rolls and layer with lettuce, sliced tomato, and provolone cheese. Add the crispy chicken tenders on top and drizzle with Anchor Bar Sauce if desired.
- 4
Serve
Serve the hoagies immediately with a side of macaroni salad.
