Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Spaghetti
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of pasta sauce, place the fried chicken on top, and cover each piece with remaining pasta sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 7
Serve
Serve the chicken parmesan on a bed of spaghetti, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
