Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even crust. Poke holes in the crust with a fork and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until well combined. Fold in the sliced Granny Smith apples, caramel sauce, and toffee bits.

Assemble and Bake
Pour the apple filling into the pre-baked crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the apples are tender. Let cool before slicing.
