Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into 1/2 lb patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill or pan-fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding cheese on top during the last minute if desired.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Prepare the French Fries

Cook the French fries according to package instructions (deep fry, bake, or air fry) until crispy. Season with salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the assembled burgers with a side of crispy French fries and a pickle spear.
