Fries

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into fries, about 1/4 inch thick.

2

Soak the Fries

Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Potatoes

Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt immediately.

5

Make the Buffalo Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

6

Coat the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the hot fries with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

7

Serve

Serve the buffalo fries hot, with extra buffalo sauce on the side if desired.
