Wings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

Start by rinsing the chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the seasoned wings in batches to the hot oil, frying them for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure not to overcrowd the pot.

  5. 5

    Drain and Toss

Once cooked, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. If desired, toss the wings in hot sauce for extra flavor.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the wings hot with traditional celery sticks and a side of bleu cheese dressing.
