Brownie Ingredients

Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Eggs

In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chunks.

  6. 6

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Let the brownies cool slightly before cutting them into squares. Serve warm topped with two scoops of Bruster's vanilla ice cream.
