Wash and Prepare Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel or salad spinner. Chop or tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons and Cheese
Add the croutons to the bowl with the lettuce. Grate or shave the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad.
Making the Caesar Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste. Mix well until the ingredients are fully blended.
- 4
Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing mixture, adjusting to taste. Mix well to incorporate the seasoning.
Assembling the Salad
- 5
Dress the Salad
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad ingredients in the large bowl. Toss gently to ensure that all the lettuce, croutons, and cheese are coated with the dressing.
- 6
Serve
