Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Season the Beef

Once the beef is cooked, season it with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.

  3. 3

    Form Patties

Divide the seasoned beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the patties on medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached.

  5. 5

    Melt Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place cheddar cheese slices on each patty to melt.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Place each patty on a hamburger bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired. Close the bun.

Side Dish

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into wedges or cubes.

  2. 8

    Toss with Oil and Seasonings

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 9

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
