Preparation

1

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Make sure to have the broccoli in florets, the bell pepper and zucchini sliced, the carrot julienned, and the mushrooms sliced. Set aside.

2

Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water. Whisk until the cornstarch is dissolved. Set this sauce mixture aside.

Cooking

3

Heat the Pan

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

4

Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, snap peas, zucchini, and mushrooms to the hot skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

5

Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat all the vegetables evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serving

6

Garnish and Serve

Remove the stir-fry from heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving. Serve hot over rice or noodles if desired.
