For the Teriyaki Salmon

Method

Preparing the Teriyaki Salmon

1

Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Preheat the Grill

While the salmon is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3

Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let excess drip off. Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

4

Garnish

Once cooked, remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Preparing the Steamed Vegetables

5

Prepare the Steamer

In a pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Place a steaming basket over the pot.

6

Steam the Vegetables

Add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers into the steaming basket. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

7

Season the Vegetables

Once steamed, season the vegetables with salt and pepper to taste.
