Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Ensure they are peeled and deveined.

2

Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

3

Chop the Parsley

Rinse the fresh parsley under cold water, shake off excess water, and chop finely.

Cooking

4

Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until melted and hot.

5

Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

6

Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.

7

Finish with Butter and Herbs

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, chopped parsley, and lemon juice. Toss to combine and coat the shrimp in the garlic butter sauce.
