Method
For the Buffalo Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil until they are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Place the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce and garlic powder, stirring until well combined.
- 5
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
For the Ranch Dressing
- 6
Mix the Ranch Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Whisk Together
Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 8
Chill the Dressing
Refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
