1. Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly under running water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove the stems if desired.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the mushrooms in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown, stirring occasionally.

3. Season the Mushrooms

Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the mushrooms and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until well combined and fragrant.

4. Serve

Remove from heat and transfer the mushrooms to a serving dish. Serve warm with the scallion dip.
