Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, finely chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Fill the Dumplings

Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold in half, and pinch to seal, ensuring there are no air pockets.

  3. 3

    Pan-fry the Gyoza

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Place the gyoza in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Steam the Gyoza

Add enough water to the skillet to cover the bottom (about 1/4 cup). Cover with a lid and steam for 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the gyoza are cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the gyoza from the skillet and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
