Preparation of Proteins

Cook Ground Chicken or Beef
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken or beef to the skillet.

Add Seasoning
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning over the meat. Stir well to combine and cook until the meat is fully cooked and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.

Drain Excess Fat (if using beef)
If you are using ground beef, drain any excess fat from the skillet before removing from heat.
Taco Shell Preparation

Heat Taco Shells
While the meat is cooking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the taco shells on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until crispy.

Fill Taco Shells
Once the shells are heated, remove them from the oven. Start filling each taco shell with the cooked meat or shredded cheese.

Add Toppings
Top the filled taco shells with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onion, sour cream, and salsa to taste.

Serve
Arrange the tacos on a platter and serve immediately while hot.
