Method

Preparation of Proteins

  1. 1

    Cook Ground Chicken or Beef

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken or beef to the skillet.

  2. 2

    Add Seasoning

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning over the meat. Stir well to combine and cook until the meat is fully cooked and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.

  3. 3

Drain Excess Fat (if using beef)

If you are using ground beef, drain any excess fat from the skillet before removing from heat.

Taco Shell Preparation

  1. 4

    Heat Taco Shells

While the meat is cooking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the taco shells on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until crispy.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Fill Taco Shells

Once the shells are heated, remove them from the oven. Start filling each taco shell with the cooked meat or shredded cheese.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Top the filled taco shells with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onion, sour cream, and salsa to taste.

  3. 7

    Serve

Arrange the tacos on a platter and serve immediately while hot.
