Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, boil salted water. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are tender, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

Add the marinara sauce and heavy cream to the skillet with mushrooms. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Mix Everything Together

Return the sautéed shrimp to the skillet and add the cooked penne pasta. Toss everything together until well coated with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Diablo Shrimp Pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
