Method
Preparation and Baking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Dough
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll the house made bread dough into small bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch in diameter.
- 2
Mix Cinnamon and Sugar
In a bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- 3
Coat the Dough Pieces
Melt the unsalted butter in a separate bowl. Dip each piece of dough into the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
- 4
Assemble the Monkey Bread
Layer the coated dough pieces in a greased bundt pan, stacking them randomly for a rustic look.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
- 6
Prepare Bailey’s Caramel Cream Cheese Icing
In a bowl, mix together 8 oz of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of Bailey’s Irish Cream, and 1/4 cup of caramel sauce until smooth.
- 7
Drizzle the Icing
Once the monkey bread has slightly cooled, drizzle the Bailey’s caramel cream cheese icing over the top. Serve warm and enjoy!
