Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mix generously over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Wrap and Cook

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  4. 4

    Make the BBQ Sauce

While the ribs are cooking, prepare the 'FNG' BBQ sauce. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. 5

    Glaze and Finish

After the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Brush a generous amount of the BBQ sauce over the ribs. Optionally, place them under a broiler for 5-7 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the ribs into individual pieces and serve with extra BBQ sauce and your choice of sides.
