Method

Prepare the Spicy Aioli

1

Make the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Whisk together until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Prepare the Fish

2

Season the Cod

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture over the cod fillets evenly.

3

Cook the Cod

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned cod fillets to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Sandwich

4

Toast the Ciabatta

While the cod is cooking, slice the ciabatta bread in half and toast it in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each toasted ciabatta, spread a generous amount of spicy aioli. Layer with mixed greens, sliced avocado, a slice of tomato, the cooked cod fillet, and pickled red onions. Top with the other half of the ciabatta.

Prepare the Fries

6

Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, either by baking or frying until crispy.

Serve

7

Plate the Dish

Serve the fish sandwiches hot, alongside a generous portion of crispy fries. Enjoy!
