Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the seafood and vegetables

Clean and devein the shrimp, slice squid and mussels if necessary. Chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Heat the oil

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Sauté garlic

Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  4. 4

    Add seafood

Add the mixed seafood to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are cooked through.

  5. 5

    Incorporate vegetables

Add the chopped bell peppers, onion, and young peppercorns to the seafood. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.

  6. 6

    Add sauces and basil

Stir in the cha-cha chili sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well. Finally, add in the Thai basil leaves and stir until they are wilted.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
