Seafood Filling

For Baking

Method

Prepare the Seafood Filling

  1. 1

    Cook the Seafood

In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the scallops and shrimp, cooking for 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through and opaque. Remove from heat.

  2. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked seafood, chopped parsley, lemon juice, bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Assemble and Bake

  1. 3

    Prepare Scallop Shells

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the scallop shells on a baking tray.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Shells

Evenly distribute the seafood filling into each scallop shell, pressing it down slightly to ensure it holds its shape.

  3. 5

    Bake

Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.

Serve

  1. 6

    Presentation

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve the stuffed scallops warm with grilled lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
