Brewing the Tea

Boil the Water
In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea (optional)

Add Sweetener
If desired, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey into the hot tea while it’s still warm. Mix until completely dissolved.
Flavoring the Tea (optional)

Add Flavorings
To enhance the flavor, add lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, or peach slices to the tea. Let it cool to room temperature.
Serving the Iced Tea

Prepare the Ice
Fill 4 cups with ice cubes to chill the tea.

Pour the brewed tea over the ice and add 2 cups of cold water to dilute the strength.
