Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Making Alfredo Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Bring to a simmer.

Finish the Sauce
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until the pasta is well coated.

Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the creamy fettuccine. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
