Pasta

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking Chicken

  1. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Making Alfredo Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Bring to a simmer.

  2. 5

    Finish the Sauce

Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until the pasta is well coated.

  2. 7

    Serve

Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the creamy fettuccine. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
