Preparation of Broth and Noodles

Prepare the Broth
In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and mirin. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Cook the Noodles
Add the saimin noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes until tender.
Serving

Plate the Saimin
Once the noodles are cooked, divide them among serving bowls. Ladle the hot broth over the noodles.

Add Toppings
Top each bowl with chopped green onions, halved hard-boiled eggs, sliced kamaboko, and strips of nori.

Optional Dumplings
If adding dumplings, cook according to package instructions (usually boiling for about 5-6 minutes). Place on top of the saimin before serving.
