Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- 2
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- 3
Roll and Slice
Start rolling the dough tightly from one end. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- 4
Bake the Cinnamon Rolls
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5
Make the Cream Cheese Icing
In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- 6
Assemble
Once the rolls have cooled slightly, drizzle with cream cheese icing and caramel sauce. Top with chopped roasted pecans.
