Deviled Eggs and Sides

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Deviled Eggs

Boil the eggs, cool them, and make the filling.

  2. 2

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes. Drain and cool in ice water.

  3. 3

Peel the eggs, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the yolks. In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy.

  4. 4

Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture and set aside.

  5. 5

    Cook the Bacon

Fry the peppercorn bacon until crispy.

  6. 6

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the peppercorn bacon until it is crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into pieces.

  7. 7

    Prepare the Fries

Cut and season the potatoes before frying.

  8. 8

Cut the potatoes into fries, soak in water for 30 minutes, then drain. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.

  9. 9

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat. Fry the potatoes until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  10. 10

    Assemble the Dish

Layer the deviled eggs, lettuce, tomato, and bacon.

  11. 11

On a plate, place a lettuce leaf, add a slice of tomato, and top with deviled eggs. Sprinkle pieces of bacon on top.

  12. 12

Serve with a side of seasoned crispy fries.
