Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all your ingredients: vodka, tonic water, and a fresh lime.

Cut the Lime
Slice the lime in half. You can use one half for juicing and the other for garnish.

Combine Ingredients
In a glass filled with ice, pour 2 oz of vodka over the ice.

Add Tonic Water
Slowly add 4 oz of tonic water to the glass. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish
Squeeze the juice from one half of the lime into the drink and stir. Use the other half as a garnish by placing it on the rim of the glass.
