Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Tea Leaves
Once the water is boiling, remove the pot from heat and add 4 tablespoons of loose black tea leaves.

Steep
Cover the pot and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Strain
After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or a tea infuser to separate the liquid from the leaves.
Cooling and Serving

Cool the Tea
Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until it's cold.

Serve
Pour the unsweetened tea into a glass over ice. Optionally, add a slice of lemon or a few mint leaves for garnish.
