Preparing the Salad Base

Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat dry with a clean towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.

Chop the washed romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

Add the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
Making the Dressing

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and anchovy paste.

Whisk the dressing ingredients together until well combined and emulsified.
Tossing the Salad

Pour the prepared dressing over the salad mixture in the large bowl.
