Wings

Wing Sauce (optional)

Method

Preparation of Wings

  1. 1

    Clean the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 3

    Bake the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Sauce (optional)

While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and honey. Mix until smooth and combined, then remove from heat.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Dry Rub (optional)

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serving the Wings

  1. 6

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven. If using the sauce, toss the wings in the prepared wing sauce until evenly coated. If using the dry rub, sprinkle the rub over the wings and toss to coat.

  2. 7

    Serve

Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces and celery sticks.
