Brew Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. If using coffee liqueur, mix it with the cooled coffee.

Prepare Egg Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until no streaks remain.

Soak Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and spread it evenly.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
