In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let the Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Cook Sausage
In a skillet, cook the family recipe sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for a crispy crust.
Assembly and Baking

Roll Out Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Layer with cooked sausage, heritage pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Top with Wisconsin smoked provolone cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
