Method
Prepare the Fillings
- 1
Cook Chicken
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breast with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and shred the chicken.
- 2
Cook Steak
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Season the steak with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.

- 4
Prepare Rice and Beans
In a separate pot, cook the cilantro lime rice according to package instructions. Heat the black beans in a small saucepan until warmed through.
- 5
Prepare Pico de Gallo
If not using store-bought, mix diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a bowl to create the pico de gallo.
Assemble the Burritos
- 6
Fill Tortillas
Lay out a large flour tortilla on a flat surface. In the center, add a portion (about 1/2 cup) of shredded chicken, steak, or veggies, followed by 1/4 cup of black beans, 1/2 cup of cilantro lime rice, and 1/4 cup of pico de gallo. Top with a handful of shredded cheese.
- 7
Wrap the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll from the bottom up to create a tight burrito. Ensure all fillings are enclosed.
- 8
Wrap and Store
Wrap each burrito in foil or parchment paper to keep them warm and secure. Continue assembling until all burritos are made.
