Method
Preparation of Salad Base
- 1
Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a clean towel. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Caesar Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce. Toss gently until the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing.
Preparation of Toppings
- 3
Prepare Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese using a cheese grater until you have approximately 0.25 cups of grated cheese. Set aside.
- 4
Make Brioche Bread Crumbs
Toast the brioche bread slices in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Once cooled, crumble the toasted brioche into small pieces to create bread crumbs.
Assembly
- 5
Combine Ingredients
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and brioche bread crumbs over the dressed romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.
- 6
Toss and Serve
Toss the salad gently to distribute the cheese and bread crumbs. Serve immediately as a side dish or a light main course.
