For the Barbeque Shrimp

For the Jalapeno Cheese Grits

Method

Prepare the Barbeque Shrimp

  1. 1

    Melt Butter and Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add Worcestershire Sauce and Seasonings

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, spicy herb blend, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Stir to coat the shrimp in the sauce and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Prepare the Jalapeno Cheese Grits

  1. 4

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add salt.

  2. 5

    Cook Grits

Gradually whisk in the grits, reduce heat to low, and let them cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are thick and creamy.

  3. 6

    Add Milk, Jalapeno, and Cheese

Once the grits are cooked, stir in the milk, chopped jalapeno, and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined. Season with black pepper to taste.
