Bruschetta Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Baguette
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the French baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.
- 2
Garlic Infusion
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. In a small bowl, mix the chopped garlic with olive oil. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the baguette slices.
- 3
Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Assemble the Toppings
While the bread is toasting, in a mixing bowl, combine the melted cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, sliced olives, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 5
Add Cheese Mixture
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and spoon the cheese mixture onto each slice.
- 6
Final Touch
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the topped bruschetta and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- 7
Serve
Serve the bruschetta warm as an appetizer or snack.
