Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Grill the Pork Chops

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the heritage pork chops with salt and black pepper. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Rice Pilaf

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of Carolina gold rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Kale

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Add the kale and sauté until wilted, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Serve the Dish

On each plate, serve a grilled pork chop topped with apple chutney. Add a side of Carolina gold rice pilaf, sautéed kale, and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
