Crab Cakes

Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Cake Mixture

In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, beaten egg, and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Form the Crab Cakes

Form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  3. 3

    Fry the Crab Cakes

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Fry the crab cakes in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the crab cakes hot with seasonal slaw and herb remoulade on the side.
