For the Baked Marinated Goat Cheese

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Garlic Confit

In a small saucepan, combine garlic cloves and olive oil. Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until garlic is soft and fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix the cooled garlic confit (including the oil), dried tomatoes, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Goat Cheese

Place the goat cheese in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

  4. 4

    Bake the Goat Cheese

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the marinated goat cheese for 15-20 minutes, until warmed through and slightly golden.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette and arrange the slices on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until crisp.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the warm baked goat cheese with the toasted baguette slices.
