Crab Cakes
Method
Preparation
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, gently combine the jumbo lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Once combined, form the mixture into 2 large crab cakes or 4 smaller ones, ensuring they are compact.
- 3
Chill the Cakes
Place the formed crab cakes on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold together during cooking.
- 4
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
