Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and rinse them under cold water to remove any shell pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash and mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs and garnish with fresh chives or parsley. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
