Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and form them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip them and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burger reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburgers hot with a side of fresh fries.
